Are you saying that a new manager with a Barnsley team that wins regularly and shoots up the table will not increase the crowds?

I didn't say there were none. But I'd wager a lot of money that the number of 'fans' whose sole reason for not going is the manager is less than 100. ie a huge minority.

Go on then... who is this miracle worker who'll take over, have no money to spend, an average squad, of whom most of the better players are soon out of contract, and yet will 'shoot' us up the league?

    Fantasy world.

Drawing Chelsea in the cup would increase the attendance too. Too many "glory supporters" who'd rather pretend to support Man Utd/City than their hometown team.

We've been on a bad run and we've lost key players to injury, but if you think we were playing utter dross earlier in the season you must have been watching a different game to me.

We wouldn't win more games with either of those two (IMO). What makes you think anybody would do a better job than Hill with the finances he has.

There's a messiah out there somewhere. I reckon Mourinho might fancy the challenge. All we have to is find him £100m to spend.

That's way off the truth. But as we all agree, football is about opinions. I think he is one of the worse managers I have seen at the club in my lifetime. Only Parkin and Spackman can compete with him. But I don't expect, or even care if anyone else agrees with me. We are all entitled to our own views. Time will determine if he was the right man for the job. And I don't think we will have to wait too long for clarification.

Of course, I don't know why I couldn't see it before. So we sack Hill, bring in Jose who will attract players like Messi, Oakwell will be full and premier league here we come. Piece of pi55 when you think about it.

I have definitely been watching a different game to you Mario. I've been watching games where the team we support has won just eight of the last 37 games and in that time scored more than one goal on only four occasions. What have you been watching?

Fans could turn up naked to the Huddersfield match and shove various root vegetables up their orifices. Doesn't mean they will, Keith.

You'd be under a hell of a lot more pressure at just about every other team in the Championship if you'd delivered the same results as we've had in 2012. At the vast majority of those clubs you'd already be sacked. But we don't want you sacked, you're not under pressure, so stop bairning and just get on with managing the team.

I've been watching a team that cost peanuts outplay teams like Blackburn and Birmingham. There have been some excellent performances this season so far. It's been poor recently but what do you expect when we have such a small squad and very little money.

You see, despite what I have said, I do agree with the sentiments there. Shame that for a lot of people on here it's black or white.

so you actually know more people in real life that wont go to watch Barnsley while KH is in charge than the amount of people who have voted in his favour on this forum

    ******

Id say in truth that you know 1 or 2 people that wont go due to KH.

all those empty seats are to do with pricing etc. I will run round Barnsley naked if we sack KH and suddenly the attendances increase. (unless we employ a top manager)

Not really RB..I assume you didn't go to Hull, but if you had you would have seen a team in the top four,I assume their fans are happy with the standard of football, and there was just over 14k home fans in a city with 3 or 4 times Barnsleys population,no 'Massive' clubs within 60 miles and a big catchment area all down Yorks and Lincs coastal areas(I know RL is popular but that more or less a summer game now)so the answer doesn't seem to be the standard of football or the stature of the manager, these are difficult financial times and our crowds are suffering for mainly that reason IMO.
