Personally I know 15 that were season ticket holders that do not like the manager and voted with their feet, i dont agree with them and I fail to see just why I have to back up my points when you are are just wanting to be childish as you say !!!

Not that it will make any difference to the crowds either way !

I do not just make things up, I have debates , I argue my points, but never just make things up. The whole point of my original post was that there are some , not all, fans that no longer go to Oakwell because of the manager, just like there was that didnt go because they didnt like Davey or Robins, Take Ossett Red, if Robins had been in charge he would not be going to oakwell, there are people that dont like Hill believe me !!

I think there's a slight worry within the club there could be Simon Daveyesque protest on the horizon if things continue AND if Keith doesn't shut his gob with regards some of his blooody stupid comments about fans, lack of cash, shopping at aldi, quality of his players, comments about being away from his family etc etc. I think the club have had to deal with a fair amount of complaint letters and phone calls just recently.

At the end of the day, he said he could do this job on the budget he is working with. Continued moaning about money etc is deflecting some of the attention away from himself and poor results and on to Patrick and the board. I'm sure they aren't happy with this.

If you had read the posts you would have seen I had already said I know no one who has stopped because of Hill.

Does anyone think Keith is trying to bring things to a head in time for the January transfer window? Some form of back me or sack me. or is it just me seeing things that aren't there?

Folks are voting for Hill in the polls, not necessarily because they like Hill and he is popular but because they realise the situation we are in and cant keep changing managers every 5 mins.

Getting rid of Hill will set us back financially, we cant afford that at the moment so he is in a good position as a manager that even if he produces poor results and performances he will be persevered with longer than past managers.

The spotlight DOES need turning on 'The Board'

They've been the constant throughout our poor performances since we got back to this level.

Don Rowing said Keith would have the same budget BEFORE we sold Butterfield, as long as he kept us up - he kept us up and then suddenly we needed the Butterfield money to maintain the budget. A budget that is diminishing in no small part to the pricing policy applied by 'The Board'.

ps - if 'the club' want to put their side of the story why don't they ? Instead of drip feeding stuff through here.

Keith Hill doesn't write Chronicle headlines. It sounds amateurish, sensationalist journalism to me.

they way I read it,it was a quote from Keith Hill and they used it as headline news.

He said something along those lines in an interview, but it was just an aside in relation to a point he was making about the support he gets from the board. To rip it out of context and splash it on the back page of the Chronicle is just lazy, attention seeking journalism. Amateurs. If I was Keith Hill I'd be very tempted to walk away.

I think he is setting himself up for the sympathy vote when he is sacked, so it does not look like anything was his fault !!
He keeps saying he is intelligent and how he is a great manager, so it cant be seen to be his fault, he is deflecting it all elsewhere. Just my opinion like and probably total balls !!

    Arrgghh, now I'm making headlines.

He's more often self deprecating on the brains front, apart from football which he does know a lot about quite rightly. He wears his heart on his sleeve and has one of those quirky, giddy brains hot-wired to his gob and his finger isn't always on the edit button which is why it comes out a bit barmy at time. I think he's a breath of fresh air, honest and decent bloke and a blumming good laugh.

The last two interviews on player have been tub-thumping with buoyancy and enthusiasm, he has spoken very well and actually brings the best out of the interviewers who then start to ask relevant and insightful questions. He has spelled everything out perfectly clearly for me, but some still do not understand the situation or only hear what they want to. A bit like the the selective hearing of whoever wrote this Chronic headline, when there are far more relevant issues to discuss. Hill has been a bit up and down throughout this current blip, but it has also been quite compelling to watch.

I am quite convinced with any other manager in this league was working with the same resources, we'd already be cut adrift at the bottom. Likewise, Keith would have a Leicester or a Blackburn challenging for promotion. He's got my vote.
