Being the head of the society for black lawyers surely he is? I'm not racist and nor do I find it acceptable but I find it very strange that he's calling the FA a racist organisation yet he feels its fine to head a society for black lawyers! If there was a society for white lawyers there'd be uproar. I just feel organisations like this cause more harm than good. It causes an us and them culture that shouldn't exist. I probably need to get out more but it's just a bit confusing where he's coming from. Racism does exist in football from the moronic few but surely to stamp it out we'd be better all working together black white Asian or wherever your from?

93% of blacks voted for Obama, 59% of whites voted for Romney, who's the most racist?

I can think of other words to describe this man. I think his entire campaign is starting to take on the look of a medieval witch hunt and any credibility he had is disappearing fast.

I always remember when I was at school and we were told the blackboard had to be called a 'chalkboard', yet a whiteboard was still a whiteboard.

How the **** can that be offensive?

I've just seen what Clark Carlisle has had to say about it and I think he would be a far better ambassador for the black players who do have concerns. I'd like to see the FA approach him and calm the situation down and maybe ask him for his ideas how the FA could combat racism in football! I just can't see how mr Herbert can call the FA a racist organisation? Half the England team tonight were black!

he's saying they are institutionally racist, how many non-white FA board members are there, how many non-white committee members ....I don't know but Peter Herbert claims that even from FA figures there were over 100 reported racist incidents on the pitch (I'm assuming thats throughout the football pyramid) only 1 was reported to the Police, and we know which that was . You either take the Clarke Carlyle approach and try and change perceptions and cultures from within (good luck with that) or the Peter Herbert view and take a sledge hammer to the FA
