    To be honest, he has no pace to lose, so why not!

    I thought he was in his mid 30s when he left us, but he went from Halifax to Grimsby and played there for a few years. In fact, their fans voted him their all time greatest player in one of those magazine polls a few years back.

    Probably ranks number 2 in my all time favourite Reds player list, behind Redders.

    He is probably the best centre half I have ever seen at Oakwell.

    Can we get his brother (Ron), son (Ben) and Nephew (Danny Murphy) too? - We could instantly solve our defensive, midfield and striker problems in one fell swoop :)

    Futch was a great player and scorer of one of the best goals I've ever seen at Oakwell. His nonchalant turn and lob over the keepr (Baker?) from 25 yards has to be one of the coolest own goals of all time :)
