Confirmed to me that with the exception of some of the dross (Wiseman, Done, McNulty) we have the players to compete at this level and even have options on the bench. The problem is it's not the players that are from Aldi - it's the manager. As soon as we had a bit of width and put few crosses in with RNL and Mellis actually running at their defence instead of all this tippy tappy sideways passing *****, we were actually the better team.

I think we'll still see the same style of football against Burnley though and if we don't win it should cost the manager his job.

I agree with most of that CT and while I don't agree that defeat on Tuesday should cost Hill his job I think it might.

    As we're both aware

Our opinions of Keith Hill are poles apart. However, as much as I like the manager, defeat at home to Burnley on Tuesday night could quite possibly mean he's removed.

I'd be baffled if the board only gave him 2 games to help gel the new loan signings in to the team.

Where do you draw the line though Mario? Do we wait until we're rock bottom or do we make a change now and give a new manager a transfer window and half a chance?

What a crock of crap !!! who would u get to replace him??? Who can work with no budget??? some folk need to wake up and realise Keep has worked well with no cash. Even other managers have said it. Mick McCarthy even said he couldn't do as well as him without 3-4 million as a budget......so come on... Who would you get then?? important fully behind the current management team and yes we lost yesterday but to a team with a large budget at the top of the league and we dis a good job against them!!

He has got a budget, a budget he was happy with, it is not the players that are at fault, it is in the main, the stupid idiotic selections, formations and tactics by the manager . That is borne out by the fact that yesterday after he actually made the subs, the team moved forward, passed forward, ran forward to receive the next pass. We looked 20 times the team that the manager set out with!!
I dont understand how you can go to the games and come away not seeing the that and it is not down to the players always.
Yes I know you get paid to go.

It's both. Hill is showing too much loyalty to the lads he brought in from Rochdale. Now it's time to do them and himself a favour because his game plan and tactics never used to be questioned as much as it is now. The money he might have been offered for Done would have paid Adam Hammill's wages for a season, there really isn't any comparison.

I predicted that comment last Wednesday, although I predicted that it would be Wath and West Melton who made it. The phrase "Tarred with the same brush springs to mind".

Did you not notice how open we were during the last 20 minutes. Sure we dominated the game and scored, but Cardiff made just as many chances during that period, and it could be argued that we were saved from a worse defeat by our keeper. Teams are about balance, and I agree that our balance yesterday was wrong. I do not agree that the team that ended the game had any better balance than the team that started it. They just had nothing to lose because they were already behind.

I don't know, I wouldn't want to be Don or Pat and have to be the one to pull the trigger. I still think he could be a very good manager for us but his decisions are going to cost him his job. I would like to give him until the end of the year and then evaluate but I don't think he will make it that far if he carries in ignoring better players to accommodate his favourite, less talented, players and we continue losing.

hills got to have a few more games with these loan players, then if we are still no further forward then he'll be out i reakon, because like it or not we are heading down and out, theres hardly been any real improvement since xmas and if the form of recent years is anything to go by,post xmas will be crap.

I reckon the swfc game will see either jones or hill sacked

Hope its jone cos i means wel have won!

However, hills playing of players like wiseman over better options will probably cost him his job either on that game or it could happen sooner.

I will tell you something, I would rather watch the team we finished with playing that open and having a go at the opposition, than the first shambles which was just piss poor.
Then again I am obviously stupid in some peoples eyes!!!

I think he needs the rest of this season at least. And I still think beyond.
