Then I'll be done with the club I love. Season ticket holder since I've been 8 and I want us to move forward not back for a change.
I think at least one of them will go at least. Usual 500k as well. I am not saying this to have a go at the club, but realistically, this is what I think will happen. I hope I am wrong, of course. But if Hill says he won't be discussing contracts till after January and there is Steele and Davies available at a cut price, other clubs would be stupid not to have a look.
I think a few fans will be questioning there commitment if we lose these two and possibly Stones too. It just signals that there is zero ambition so I wouldn't really blame life long fans who decide to call it a day.
Over the years I've seen scores of players(better than these)leave the club.It happens and we move on.The club will survive.
Thats true but we may be doing it without his money and the money of others, fine we will still have a club, but worrying that the trend of loosing fans will continue, with the financial burden lying heavier on those that remain.
I won't be happy but I'd never not go and watch Barnsley unless it was financially impossible. We're not gettin the results, we may win, we may lose, we may go down, we may go back up, we may sell our best players for pittance but one things for sure, fans stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so when we sold Butterfield Higgnett, Ward, Redfearn, etc etc etc must I go on.Did you make this same decision at each and every one of those. No seriously did you? If so then , Bye Bye.However you say since when you were eight, guessing perhaps then that you have just turned teenager then. This has been the BFC world since at least the Fifties matey. Get used to it.
I were a bit loose theer wit spellin, soz Mark. Its cos sumbdy mentioned it in tother thread and it got me all discombobulated. Note to oneself - must try harder.
Unless you're a Man U or City type club, every club in football suffers the same thing to a greater or lesser degree........annoying but thats just how it is.
were little old barnsley football club. your gunna have to get used to january sales im afraid. were one of the smallest clubs in the league and if anyone is playing well, just like peterborough and other clubs in the past in the championship, the better players are gunna get picked off. thats why we need to get behind em constantly and show our support to why we want em to stay and not slag em off like previous star players
Re: so when we sold Butterfield Difference with losing them players was we stayed competitive in this league. Nowadays we are barely staying in this league so it makes much more difference selling our better players than it did in the past. While season after season we continue to show no improvement ST sales will continue to drop.
