Going on results it must be a close thing. Listening to football heaven this week, all the sheff wednesday want their manager sacked and the argument is who will take the job and what difference will the new guy make? Same argument by some I suppose about sacking Hillcroft, but where does it end?? Something needs changing and it all falls down to the manager Im afraid. I for one would like my beloved club given a chance to get out of this mess and a fighting chance to stay in the championship, a change of manager would in my opinion shake stuff up and hopefully give the players a kick up the arse. If it wasnt for steele, we'd get embarrassed most weeks.
Despite current evidence I rate Hill above Davey. Davey had money to spend and did some totally bizarre things, often playing awful football without any apparent plan. Hill has a specific way of playing that has been succesful on occasions, had no money and is competing in a tougher league. But he's beginning to test the patience of even his biggest fans.
Not bringining in a centre half and instead getting more strikers/attacking midfielders has been a big mistake for me. We should have had one of Tudgay or Sinclair and got a defender. Its not like everyone's only just saying this either, starting to lose faith in KH. Still he's a much better manager than simple Simon ever was.
