Will you still consider Mick to be a legend if he ends up sending us down by steering Ipswich clear of the drop?

If the scenario were to be between us or Ipswich to go down at the end of the seaon and Mick manages to help send us down, in our 125th year, would he still be a Barnsley legend?

It's widely known that Mick has said he wouldn't want to manage us because if he fails it would destroy his legend status.

He was a BFC legend as a player, what he does as a manager elsewhere shouldn't have any bearing on this. It's not his fault we're in the position we're in.

Why would it change how he was thought of as a player here?
Yes he would still be a playing legend, Barnsley dont pay him now, Ipswich do, if he keeps them up good on him, Keith Hill has had a good run at keeping us up, not that he is doing a great job of it at the moment, he is the one that is responsible for OUR fate not Macca !!

Yes because if we go down and Ipswich stay up it will be because we are **** and not because Mick is manager of a relegation rival. Anyway Ipswich will be mid table by May.

I would imagine that after another 10 games Ipswich will have a points tally that we won't surpass this season, so I can't imagine that they will be the ones to send us down.
