    That's the first time I have seen the word 'fast' used in a sentence about big Daz. I agree though, we really need a big, strong, dominant centre half like Moore.

    We replaced him with Shackell.

    Do agree though, big Daz was an excellent centre half and a natural leader.

    I always got the piss taken out of me for saying he was fast, but in a straight line he was, he just had the turning circle of a bus.

    He was fast!! Up in his head!! The pace he lacked in his legs, he made up for that with experience and a quality football brain. Numerous times he had quick players in his back pocket because he was a yard in front of them up in his head.

    I agree with that, he used to foul players before the ball had been played to them, so that when the ball was finally played forward, he could clear it unchallenged while the opponent complained to the referee.
