We tried to sign him on loan in the summer. Pretty sure there was a lot of unhappiness about it on here.

I always thought he would have made a better DM'er than a centre half. I quite liked him but he was accident prone - not a man to come into a struggling team

not too bothered about one that can play the ball around. I want one that gets stuck in and stops goals. One that strikers dont want to stand near at goal kick and corners. A center back that when the striker comes of the field after the game thinks I dont want to play against him again. One with a hairy arse :)

Not the bunch of softys we have

Think someone like Paul McShane would do very nicely

Exactly, however swapping league one defenders for more league one defenders isn't going to help us. So Keith will probably be keen to sign him.

Always liked the look of that Huddersfield centre half, is it Peter Clarke? we're crying out for someone like him

He's under contract, so we couldn't get him until January anyway. Not the solution in my opinion, we need a proper centre-half with loads of experience. they must be a centre-half that is out of contract out there, who could do a short term job.
