That looks very interesting, might have a go! Though I reckon if I got to around five grand I would lose my nerve and cash it in. Once you get to those sorts of sums it must be pretty difficult to keep going knowing what you stand to lose. But then on the other hand, if you do get to the 50k that's a massive chunk of your mortgage paid off in one go......

I suppose you haven't got to see it as £5k (or whatever), but just your original £10. Another option is to half it every time you get to a multiple of £50 or £100 - it would take more bets so even less likely but not impossible and you could still make some serious money. Although I have lost on several 1.01 sure things before!
