Re: He does post on here Didn't know that. Well to answer Extremely Northern he's every right to go. It might end a few blind views people have about him.
Re: He does post on here I'm going down to the meeting tonight. I hope I behave better than when I met Rib Noodles.
Re: He does post on here I dunno. I'd like to know if we've offered Craig Davies and Luke Steele new contracts and if not why. Wouldn't mind hearing how Keith's budget compares to Robins'.
Re: He does post on here If we haven't it'll be the players' faults somehow. Or the managers. And that'll be 'the same'
Re: He does post on here I would keep the supporters agenda very separate to that of a newspaper. They have their opportunities to speak to Don Rowing and you have to make a clear distinction between what is a what isn't a press conference. Yes he is a supporter, I don't doubt that. But he's demonstrated very recently he's by no means shy of ripping a quote way out of context to create a sensationalist headline. You don't want to jeopardise the open forum you have with Don, or to feel you can not broach a sensitive subject for fear it will explode all over the back page of the Chronicle. Many arenas have press restrictions, this is no different and I wouldn't feel you are excluding someone. Perhaps someone could write up the minutes and make that available.
Re: He does post on here 'They've both indicated they'd like to keep their options open at this time'. Nailed on.
Is it too late to ask for a few things to be brought up if anybody gets a chance please? TV's under the stands, it's a guessing game as to what will be on them if indeed they're turned on at all. More often than 2 or 3 TVs are on and the rest are off but then at half time the ones that were on are suddenly off and a random one somewhere else is turned on. They show anything from the pitch to highlights of a past game, sky sports (rarely) or even a test card. Any chance of one clear cut policy being implemented that stays in place every week so people know what is happening? If the decision is no TV's then fine but please stick to it. The club shop under the east stand. Been stood empty now all season. Even if just sport are too stupid to utilise it to make money surely we as a club could do SOMETHING with the space to make some money. Sell some of our one off items in there? Have a stand set up demonstrating Barnsley Player and highlighting it's features? Have a club rep there taking supporters (sensible) suggestions and complaints? Hand it over to the supporters trust for them to sell the shirt and paintings from if they wish? Or even hire it out on a match by match basis to local businesses for them to display their wares. A bit like hiring a pitch at the rotherham show. Even if the club only charged £100 a match (i'm sure it would be more than that), it's still around 2 n half grand for nothing. Lindley. Poor service, poor selections, poor standards. Breach of contract? I don't think that Don said at the last meeting whether the club have the ability to cancel the contract if certain standards are not met. Is this the case? Charlton. Don recently said that if we charged a fiver a ticket as a one off then we would lose money if more people turned up. Could he explain this please because from the outside it makes no sense and I find it hard to believe that the operating costs rise by more than £5 per extra person inside oakwell, especially considering the policing bills for other clubs which have been made public which suggest the policing costs are much much lower than this. Does he WANT to see a takeover happen? Does he think that Patrick Cryne is currently holding the club back with his money saving measures? Thanks
