He seems a decent bloke There were a multitude of questions being thrown at him tonight and he didn't duck any of them. He certainly wasn't given an easy ride, if that's what anyone thinks.
If he doesn't give a **** the why hold the meeting? And can you change your sig please, seen as its incorrect. you could just have "I think Keith hill is ****".
Why do you give a **** then about a meeting you didn't want to go to in the first place. Chill art mi owd.a
Re: He seems a decent bloke Is it all a secret then or what? Or did you just talk about TVs? Out of the multitude of questions, which was the most interesting?
Re: He seems a decent bloke He's ducked them before though, he ducked my question about him performing in a cheerleaders outfit with the tykettes, the bloody chicken. I quite like that he gives out information that he knows he shouldn't. I'm not sure why I like it but I do.
Re: He seems a decent bloke Jumping in (and from memory) Ticket prices, particularly that the multitude of prices and changes isn't working with the membership scheme so likely scrapped next year (or even this) We'd need to guarantee an extra 1500 people on he gate each game to lower prices to twenty quid Mentioned Supertykes idea of the shop in the east stand, being looked at Contracts - Davies approached earlier in year but asked to wait til Jan at earliest, he's the only player approached. Looking to get more fans from Polish community on board Potentially lowering all Tuesday games to £20 consistently. Keith's budget is the same as Robins in real terms How playing budget is spent is entirely up to Keith. Keith signed Davies, no contact from Robins. Feel free to delete if I've spoken out of turn Gally.
Re: He seems a decent bloke Yay, thanks Dyson. The hush hush nature surrounding these meetings is baffling, and defies the point of the meeting in the first place if you ask me.
Yes some things were told in confidence And I won't breach that confidence. Issues about the quality and quantity of food available on match days was raised. As was a bar in the Ponty End with regards to when a licence would be submitted. The lengthiest debate was to do with pricing and how they could be resolved. Players contracts & transfer fees were also broached, but these would fall into the confidentiality aspect.
Few games coming up too which will have offers, including another "blackpool" style one too I think he said when it gets to warmer weather
Re: He seems a decent bloke Cheers Dyson. I obviously wasn't there so can't be sure but from what you've said I wouldn't think anything you've said there is particularly sensitive information. Out of interest what shop idea of mine specifically was being looked at? I mentioned about a million possible ideas for it. The budget being the same as Robins' is quite interesting and makes Hill look a little worse really because of how many points Hill has managed compared to Robins. It also confuses me a little that if the budget is the same then what was all that about telling robins his budget was getting slashed if indeed it hasnt been? Good news on the ticket pricing idea, £20 is much better. I also think that if it was £20 every game instead of £28 then the club would easily get an extre 1500 people on the gate but I obviously can't prove that, I just think it would. If we want more polish fans then I suggest getting rid of toby tyke and replacing him with mr sheen as mascot. Have I got the wrong end of the stick with this one?
Re: Yes some things were told in confidence Did he wait till young nudger had left the room before saying things in confidence? That man couldn't keep his gob shut if his life depended on it
Really? You honestly can't understand why private and confidential information discussed in these meetings isn't divulged?
Re: He seems a decent bloke The one about using the empty east stand shop for external traders or supporters trust. Think it was well known the budget stayed the same but only after selling Butterfield. Key thing is ours has remained the same butt everyone else's has increased. And as mentioned on here I think the only difference now is Crynes lack of investment to sign the odd player. The point about £20 is we have to guarantee an extra 1500. Difficult to do it 100% but I think it would be possible, especially with away support.
