    Did anyone watch it?

Some of the footage caught by the helmet cameras was quite harrowing.

But that Specky ***** Gareth deserved a slap his attitude f.ucking reeked, he also admitted to travelling faster than the speed limit surely bikes should have a speed limit when using a public highway.

I caught the second half. I think it tried to show both sides of the story. Not agree with bloke who thought as he had a camera he could act like an enforcement officer grabbing folk

Yes the 'traffic droid' was a arsehole, it did try to show it from both sides but that Gareth especially irritated me, I tried his best to get the motorists to react to him

As a cyclist in a major city most drivers are very good, only a minority are dickheads. Didnt see the programme mind, so cant comment.

Yeah I watched it. I thought it was quite balanced really and showed arseholes from both sides of the battle. You're right though that geeky lad (Gareth?) was a proper knobhead and deserved a slap. I thought that guy that got out and had a go at him for controlling the traffic was going to punch his lights out.

If you can do over 30mph on a piece of road you're either a pro-cyclist or going downhill very quickly. Average traffic commute is so stop start you can barely get up to 20mph sometimes. I managed 39.8mph going downhill in a 40mph zone :)

He was just 'getting it out there' the speeds he could do I think although from the footage he recorded it showd you him leaving other cyclists behind and he was easily keeping up with Taxi he had a barney with on a clear stretch of road

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

Showed waht a lot of people realised a long time ago - that when someone goes on a road, regardless of vehicle, they turn into a frustrated hybrid of Ralf Schumacher, John Terry, Tyson Fury and Michael Mansfield QC.

You're right about the footage. How some of them weren't killed is unbelievable.

brilliant show, capturing the anger & aggression on both sides... bt giving a balanced, non tabloid style programme like you would have got on ITV if they'd done it

i think cyclists should also have to pay some kind of road tax,why should drivers of motorised vehicles pay and not cyclists.

the cyclists want the same road rights.

now the goverments both labour and conservative have more people cycling than ever before the amout they could generate by some kind of road cycle tax would help generate money.

also cyclists on the road should be pulled up and subjected to a breath test just as motor vehicle drivers are. you might have a piece of carbon or iron on wheels but you can cause as much damage as a car accident wise.

if a cyclists is on a footpath that should also be a fine, just like the segway guy got. i know people will say what about young kids blah blah blah.
but if there old enough to be on a public footpath on there own cycling there old enough to know the rules.

I don't think cyclists should pay road tax. Cycling should be promoted for health/environment reasons.

Agree on cyclists on pavements though. A couple of month back I was out running and ran out past a 90 degree bend on a walled road straight into the side of a cyclist who was on the pavement. Thankfully I ran into the side of him and sent him flying, but if I had been slightly earlier he would have gone into me and I would have come off a lot worse.

the reason i think they should,if they want the same rights as other road users then they should have to pay just like other road users.

i had a bike so im not anti cyclist. maybe if not tax then they should have to be insured maybe that would work better.

especially in these days of sue everyone

to be fair some of those cyclist put themselves is some very dangerous positions, including the girl who was sadly killed. maybe we should introduce a cycling test to ensure that all cyclist are not oblivious to the dangers

I agree with Tyrone to an extent, some of the positions the cyclists put themselves in to made me cringe. As someone who's ridden motorcycles for the best part of 10 years, although I can sympathise with them concerning the attitude of drivers, maybe they need to learn to cycle defensively instead of offensively. Might save a few lives.
