Re: In addition to Vaz Te Butterfield - played in a position that suited him by Hill, much more than Robins. Benefited from the games he played under Robins, though. Davies - two year contract not particularly short term. Stones - dropped because he needed a rest and to take him out of the firing line.
I can't disagree with that Kev, and no I wasn't there but I totally understand the reasons why you've been asked to be discrete.
I'm stamping my foot, too And waving my fist at the screen. But you know that, as well. I'm so predictable.
I make this lad Look like a prop forward for Featherstone Rovers! <img src ="http://img.thesun.co.uk/multimedia/archive/01071/spence380_1071714a.jpg">
Re: Expensive loan signings or cheap permanent signings sold for a profit. Robins took over after thi mate Davey had spent budget int Summer and Robins was fetched in to clear up his ***** start, loans were all he had to change personnel at that time. You were throwing teddy out of the pram on the day Robins got the job and have been doing everything to discredit him since. You just wont let it lie. No he wouldn`t, he wouldn`t let it lie. All managers are set on with differing aims, goals, budgets, promises from those running the club, so comparisons are futile really.
Re: Don walked into the meeting How can he prepare when he doesn't know the questions he will be asked? There were some he couldn't have predicted.
Re: Yes some things were told in confidence So, what does he achieve by divulging this to some (but not other) fans?
Re: Yes some things were told in confidence He's making himself open and available to people who want to go and have an old fashioned meeting. Remember mi fatha going to see John Dennis a few years ago too. It's always happened.
First rule in management!!! Just because you have instructed certain things to be done, don,t think they have been. A good Manager checks they have before assuming. Bad management. Also good managers set by example and has his workforce happy and on board. This is how the Redknapps etc become good managers. I think it needs a shake up at the very top, they are not up to it. I asked a few weeks ago in ticket office when are we going to replace the Blankety blank score board, which is like Wheeltappers and shunters with half the bulbs out. They said who can afford £100,000. I said who has to pay that much for a simple good score board. Football is being ripped off.
Re: Don walked into the meeting No but he can prepare for most of them and for the meeting in general. I just get the feeling that it's when he's pushed to make a decision quick that he cocks up and makes the wrong one sometimes.
