Or football heaven, whatever,.....Pillock! yeah lets sell our best 2 players in Jan shall we in Davies and Steele...god all fookin mighty! Your not on here are you kev under a pseudonym? If so, please show yersen for a complimentary slagging!!
You may be right however it should not be for the lack of trying to keep them till the end of the season at least. Folk like Kev i hope are in the minority of Barnsley fans short-sighted enough not to see that!
Re: Not me I also think we will see both Steele and Davies leave next month. I can also see Tudgay signing on a permanent basis should he be out of favor at Forest. Perfect Davies replacement in my opinion.
I think there's a distinct possibility Our main three strikers on 1st February will be Emile Sinclair, Marcus Tudgay & Chis O'Grady.
Re: Not me I agree. 500k apiece, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if a couple others left as well. Can't see us signing Tudgay though. Mate of mine, a Forest fan, expects him to get a run in the side when he gets back from us. Told me that both and him and Greening were on a substantial wage as well.
Re: Not me I can see Tudgay taking a bit of a wage cut for first team football seen as his contract is up at the end of the season.
Re: I think Tudgay's salary Greening will be on a fair old wedge at Forest, Ex premier league and all that.
The points those two will gain for us are worth more than a million if they keep us up. I would much rather have 12 more goals from CD than 500k and relegation. Makes more sense if those bids for Done & McNulty are still on the table.
Re: I think there's a distinct possibility Just 2, O`Grady and Sinclair. Tudgay wants to go back to Forest, and O`Grady is dependent on Hill still being here I reckon.
we should get a piece of paper saying "this is crystal palace football club and we hereby catergorically state that we shall pay barnsley football club £500,000 in january for Matt Done and will not go back on our word. that should do it
What people want & what people get Aren't always the same thing. If Forest make the Sharp signing from Southampton a permanent one next month & get Cox fit again, the best Tudgay can expect at the City Ground is fourth choice behind these two and Dexter Blackstock. That's assuming, of course, they haven't got someone else lined up as well. Just my opinion. If Keith Hill is still the manager, I expect him to bring in O'Grady as Davies' replacement. Again, just my opinion.
