Sorry to bring it up again but after reading a few posts tonight I'm quite confused to what budget Keith Hill has.Evidently he received the same budget as Mark Robins.Did he have the same budget as M.Robins in his last season or did he have the same budget that M.Robins refused to work with.

The same one that Mark Robins had when he was manager.

Robins was given 600k for Shackell and big money loans for Harewood and O'Connor etc, Hill has only been able to sign lots of cheap/free/loan players and has had to take risks on cheap players!! I think Hill might have around the same cash in total but it's worth less today as it was 2-3 years ago!!

Robins chose to spend £600K on Shackell. Hill has chosen to have a squad of 35+ professional players. Our board give the manager money, they do not stipulate how he spends it.

    Just to add to that

Robins wasn't given £600K to sign Shackell. He was given a budget and he used £600K of that to sign Shackell. Keith Hill was given a similar Budget. At one time it looked as though he was going to spend some of that on a £400K bid for Norwood and a further bid for Greer. Those bids didn't come off. He has since gone on to spend his budget by filling up the squad and has gone for quantity over quality.

Hill has chosen to buy these cheaper players, he just bought 10 players instead of one. Hill has got a lot of people brainwashed.

Who is that tells us changing managers frequently doesn't work?

Doesn't seem to apply the same ethos when it comes to changing players. Settled teams, bring success, not chopping and changing every week.
