People have as much right to an opinion on the club whether they go or not. Not everyone has the luxury of handouts to attend Oakwell (buying their son/daghter a prezzie this Xmas probably takes priorty over a £28 ticket and a match that can be watched at home or in the local) so for whatever reason they do not go to Oakwell but follow the club they are still a fan/supporter.

I'm watching it at home, on my laptop, all the way from a frozen South Korea. It'll be about 2am my time, but I'll be cheering them on quietly as my missus sleeps.

What a very arrogant view you have there Phil! Jesus wept. I'm not going because it's our workx Xmas do. But if it wasn't I'd still be saving a bit and watching it on the box.

    I'm going.

Went yesterday to get mi ticket.

Its a derby game against one of our longest rivals, its a bit pathetic if you'd rather stay at home because its 'cold'.

Man up. What would thi grandad think if you said that its cold to him.

It will more than likely be cold on the 4th round of the FA cup should we get through, if we draw someone like Man Utd, Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea etc it will more than likely be on tele, but I bet you'd all pay £28 a ticket then.

I'll be there. Paying full whack.
It's Wednesday, a crucial game/derby, and I have yet to miss a Wednesday derby in my 25 years of support. My first away game in the ZDS Cup was against them, we won on pens.
Bring it on - the game, the cost, the cold, the THREE POINTS.

I usually agree with a lot of people regarding not going, especially around Christmas. But I'm shocked at how many people aren't going, even ST holders. We havent played Wednesday in the league for a couple of years, its as big a derby game as we're getting this year (forget the one-sided rivalry with Leeds who dont care about us) and its one hell of a six-pointer. Inidicative of the lack of enthusiasm around Oakwell it would seem. Derby games have often been expensive in the past but we sold a lot of tickets, but now its not the case. Empty seats galore live on Sky, shame. All I'll say is, if we drop, people will miss these games when we're playing Yeovil, Bournemouth and Brentford every other week.

Definitely will be at Oakwell for this one. It's our biggest home game of the season.

I'm going to champs in Sheffield to watch it. So if I don't post on here again, I've probably had my head smashed in.

I don't know how anyone cannot go to the match and instead watch it on tele. Going to be interesting to see how many supporters we lose if we get relegated

Crickey, I remember that game - our first ever game on Sky, the year before they got the premier league contract and only had **** like the ZDS cup to show.

I watched it in the old social club - it was packed and was rocking when we won - you'd have thought we'd won the chuffing cup, not a 1st preliminary round or whatever it was. T'was a good night! :)

I'll be getting up at 6am on Sunday morning to hopefully get a decent free internet stream of the match.

Likewise (albeit it will be 10.30 a.m. on Saturday for me) - not being screened on cable, unfortunately.

And if you already paid the club for a season ticket but arent going because it costs a lot of time and money to do a 400 mile round trip for a game you can see with no extra expense or time?

I still want to be able to moan if we sell Davies or Steele
