Be a few boos at full time. But that's all.
Too cold to stick around and protest.

Shouldn't think so. I haven't heard a single 'Hill out' chant so far, dunno about anyone else. A few boos and general disgruntlement but that's to be expected considering we havent won for what seems like months.

Suspect most sensible folk take the mitigating circumstances into account of a low wage bill, players asked to compete to the maximum of their ability every week and dwindling attendances.

I actually don't think the game on Saturday is as make or break and some have made out. A win will do little to secure our place in this division, similarly a defeat wont vanquish all hope of staying up. Draw...nailed on.

Mentioned on here that a few happened at Watford. Following on from that we dropped two points in the last minute so if in the next game we lose to a local rival below us it wouldn't shock me for more Hill out chants to happen.

Fair do's, didn't realise there were chants at Watford. Still don't think there is a sizeable number of fans wanting him out, never mind talk of a protest. After all, Ponty end was chanting his name only 3 matches ago.

Regardless, it achieves very little. I'm sure Cryne et al are as aware as we all are as to the current plight. There appears to be support behind him from the 'board', further boosted by the money made available for recent acquisitions. His remit is to develop bought players as 'assets' which he has to a large degree done well. And obviously to stay in the division. A far tricker task but as we all know with this division there's a fine line between success and failure. A couple of wins and it's looking rosy again.

I still maintain there would be little gained from giving him the boot at this stage.

The "board" have already clarified that the money was not "new backing" and that it has been there all along.

As far as I can see it he has devloped one player into a saleable asset, perhaps two.

How quickly do you want him to do it? Hammill was here for two years before lighting it up.

Bids rejected for Done (rightly or wrongly) prove he's been improved, talk of Wiseman, Vaz Te, Butterfield, improvement from O'Brien and Lazarus under him, Drinkwater definitely did it's just we improved him for someone else (the key downfall of Robins loan strategy - just see Trippier) and Davies is talked about as one of the top strikers in the league.

    Plenty to be proud of.

Two issues. Firstly, I don't think it has ever been clarified that was actually the case. Secondly, lets say the money was there all along. Doesn't that mean that there was a finite figure for Hill to spend, and he could therefore have spent it on three average player's wages for 4 months, or 3 good players wages for 2 months. Cloth cut accordingly. Therefore the money was available all along but not to bring in players of that quality for that length of time?

That's before you even get in to the debate as to whether those players were available for loan at an early point. Or the fact that we were doing pretty well until Davies and Cranie got injured.

All lovely, except we are in the bottom three, 8 wins in 41, no wins in 10. The manager says that everything looks right we just aren't winning and he's wrong. The club are not interested in anything above L1 and teh fans are getting bored.

As am I. Times up I think.
