You say there,s a lynch mob about, where? Did you here any chants against Hill yesterday at the match cos I didn't. I along witha few others on this forum have called for him to go, at a guess that would total 20 or 30, no more. There's probably been a dozen letters to the Chronicle asking for him to go. So where's the lynch mob? it seems a pretty small one to me.
How many do you need for a lynch mob? I would have thought 30 would be plenty. How many were there when all the other managers were sacked? It certainly feels like it did on here when Davey was sacked.
I said nothing more needs to be said. The initial fact did need to be said. What's your opinion then on that disgraceful statistic??
Brilliant observations red rain. Well said that man / woman.....a bit of considered and thoughtful analysis. A refreshing change from the usual spite and bile on here.
Yes because his position was made untenable because of our small time board. Just how much money do you think they are giving the clown hill at the moment for loanees? The board just don't want to admit they have fooked up with this appointment after not giving robins a reasonable amount of budget to work with. Yet here we are, hill towing his knackers off, panicking and yet he's been given funds for loanees that robins was pushed out for! Hypercrits running bfc!
my opinion on that statistic is that statistics are exactly that. they show no relevance to the context they occurred in.
Now, we are talking technicalities. Neither of us knows what happened in that series of meeting I suspect, but this is my best guess. Robins was told wahat his budget was going to be, and he was also told that Shackell would have to be sold or else the budget would be cut. We Know Hill is on the same arrangement. Robins said he was not happy and wished to consider his options. The board considered this to be a threat and put him on notice in order to counter the threat. Robins walked. You may know different, and please enlighten me if you have any information to the contrary.
Just like league position come May then The day the FL start awarding bonus points for possession and circumstances will be the day Keef comes into his own.
Robins wanted time to re-consider his targets as it had been the position previously that support would be present and that he was building for going beyond fourth bottom being good enough. The goalposts changed because the owner changed his mind. As is his wont.
I am sure that I read reports on here after the last meeting with Don, that the costs of the loanees were within Keith's budget.
Surely, that was what the original meeting was called for, and does not describe what happened after that. This discussion has developed into the usual Robins v Hill discussion, which is not what I want to pursue as I think it is irrelevant to our current situation.
the league table shows has no column for who has overspent , who is debt or who is skint. that is the context that our results should be taken in.
