If it wasn't true the club would have denied it to stop them looking like pillocks surely

So did I but definitely not at £4k per week. He should have been on performance related pay not a guaranteed £16k per month regardless of whether he could be arsed to get fit or not. We've well and truly had are pants pulled down.

He was the size of a tank when he signed him, never going to end well. Like someone said, wasn't he put through a medical. Why couldnt we have put him on a pay as you play deal?

p.s At least the kitman won't be running to the club shop to get any XXL shirts on matchdays anymore! Waste of time!

Mido is a Dodge Pot. He's f** led us over good. and proper. I'm not a Hill fan but Mido was an interesting signing for us and we all looked fwd to seeing him. No one can legislate for MIdo's attitude ... The club should be reclaiming wages from him rather than seeking an early negotiated settlement...

My Boro mate says Mido was a waste of space at 25. It's Mido that has blown the opportunity, not Keith Hill or BFC. He was offered a career lifeline and he's fcked it up, despite pretending to be something he's not on his home tv.

There are worse decisions made in football. If he'd had the mind to, Mido was quite able to roll up fit for the new season and bag 10 goals by Xmas. Why didn't he? Anything to do with him allegedly dodging national service in Egypt, while sticking it to Israel in the press to prove to his people where his loyalties lie?

It's no good little know-it-alls coming on here shouting the odds after the fact. He'll wash up at an upper 3rd tier club in the next few weeks on 3k pw, unfit and claiming things weren't right for him at Barnsley....

When he's 40 he'll be sat around saying - why didn't I make more of a go at that? I was alright at football....

Because it would be sued for unfair and wrongful dismissal mate; and lose.

It was West Ham he signed for and the manager said Mido was playing for 1k a week to prove himself.I would expect he was on a similar deal here but like anybody else I've no idea what he was on.

I don't know what he's on either. But Don Rowing said he was one of our highest earners. That and the fact that we are struggling to come up with a severance package says to me he is on quite a bit more than £1000 a week. We might not like that, but that doesn't mean it's not true.

Strange that, a former Boro manager told Hill not to bother and he ignored him as he is an arrogant berk.

    why would the club lose?

if its true, its gross missconduct aswell as racism, good enough grounds for a sacking imo.

Its ridiculous that a footballer can get get away with it and for me its more evidence that they are a law unto themselves. You can be sacked for grossmissconduct if you dont do your job properly, its about time fukin footballers were made to stand up and be counted, how the hell are they imune from a goss-missconduct charge?

You assume/expect a grand the paper says 4 grand so its down to who you want to believe or which ever makes your argument I suppose.

To be fair it was the same Boro manager who spent 12 million on Alfonso Alves

Dont think Keith would try to discredit him, despite not taking his advice.
