    When i saw Bobby was started I assumed that Hill thought we would probably lose and saw it as an opportunity to be able to say 'I Played Hassell as everyone wanted and we lost......so stop going on about wanting him to play. He's not as good as what we have'

    Shot himself in the foot now :)

    I doubt that was the case ans I doubt that what you think just. Played him in his strongest position.

    Then why tell everyone that he is behind 5/6 others in the pecking order?
    If he is the best option today then he has been the best option for months!

    When did he say he was 5/6 in the pecking order?

    Greening not great, Cranie centre half, Bobby's turn. Simple.

    On radio Sheffield they asked him about Hassell and he said that he would only play in midfield and he was behind 5/6 for that position.

    Was Greening injured, or is Hill actually thinking that Hassell is better than Greening. I doubt it. Still stand by original post

    Don't recall it mate but from memory the only laikers that have played in that position are Cranie Greening and Hassell.

    And if you listen to what he said today he picked hassell specifically to deal with trotter linking up with their forwards, felt he was the best man for the job.

    He may well have been behind five or six to get a game, but he might not be now

    He mentioned Digby and another young one too, as well as Dawson and Perkins.

    Not giving Hassell a chance was my biggest beef with Hill. If he continues to play Hassell then fair dos to him.If Hassell plays crap then drop him, but he's still got one of the best win rations of all the players, so obvioulsy makes a difference when he's on the pitch
