bringing 6 shots with 3 on target according to beeb. We need to get hold of the ball more its so obvious.
I wonder how much of that possession was in our own half. I'd like to see possession statistics in the opposition's half for our games. I think that would give a better reflection of how a match pans out.
Rome weren`t built in a day. Get behind em. Sorry I`m only on here cos we`ve lost. Lovin it, lovin it, lovin it apparently.
I'd like to see stats showing where each of our players are passing to and from and how that compares with the opposition and also to see how many touches how players take before making passes. McNulty will be shown taking 7453522 passes before passing it to anyone, Greening will be shown getting the ball on the halfway line, taking 3 touches to turn towards our own net and then passing it to anyone deeper than himself. Keith Hill will be seen at the back of the dugout looking like a naughty schoolboy.
I'd like to see the stats that show how many times Golbourne, McNulty and Done use their right foot. I'm guessing at 0. Zero.
We have had good possession stats all season, but lowest scorers in the league. The fallacy that is possession stats was shown in all its glory when Barcelona enjoyed 89% possession at Celtic Park... but lost. We keep the ball well around the central areas, but there is so little link up between the midfield and forwards. No clever through balls, no creative thinking. We are without a Butterfield/Drinkwater type player who can thread balls through. Too many players who are only able to play sideward or backwards balls, taking three or more touches to do so.
