    Totally agree. Am I the only one who thinks the squad is good enough (just) to survive with correct team selection, tactics, motivation and management?

    No mate you are not, with a strong centre half added and another forward or 2 , instead of Tudgay and Davies we should be able to stay up as long as Wiseman and McNulty do not play in defence at the same time.

    Not at all. From what I have been told by friends and relatives who have gone regularly this season, we have not been outplayed in general - far from it in fact, which suggests we can compete with some minor adjustments. That is what is so disappointing about Keith Hill's reign, it genuinely seems like we weren't very far away from being a competitive second tier side. Fine margins and all that.

    Judging by his body language over the last two games, I think he knew the game was up and he'd given up. Probably just trying to draw it to a quick conclusion.

    Ask you friends and relatives who the worst 2 central defenders we have played there this season, if the answer is not McNulty and Wiseman then they have been watching the wrong defence. Hassell played much better than McNulty on Wednesday, Stones also had a decent game on Wednesday, I admit I knew Hassell was dropped yesterday, but to drop Stones and play Wiseman instead and to also play Done from the start , for those things themselves he deserved to go. He sheer pigheadedness has cost him as much as his lack of tactical nous.

    But I did say that Tudgay and Davies would be leaving so all we need extra is a centre half. Those two will not be here anyway.

    He's not got the spine right, dodgy keeper, no creativety in centre midfield, poor central defenders and a lack of quality striking options. He gambled on the bad boys cos he thought he could work miracles, signed a cart load o players (14 in all) and didn't improve the team one bit.

    Wiseman is a good right back but was awful today BUT is nowhere the near standard of John Stones. Stones has proved over the last two games why he has so much potential.

    For some reason, McNulty has been in the first XI some times this year then not in the 18 the week after. Not half the player he was last season and Hassell fully deserved to be in the side today at centre half, if not right back. We should have taken that offer from Millwall in the summer for McNulty and maybe, just maybe we would have signed Mark Beevers from Wednesday.

    I think this is the most frustrating aspect. Keith really had to go though - too much chopping an changing. He never really knew (or had any faith in) his best eleven. I just wonder if he had adequate help from his assistant when it was really needed.

    I still can't believe he didn't sign any defenders over the summer. He deserves sacking for that. Either incredibly arrogant in thinking he could train his signings into better defenders then they abysmal goals against tally suggested or plain flawed. Even with the loan window he didn't bring anyone in. The only name I heard was Greer, and earlier perhaps, Beevers? Surely he could've got a robust, fast centre back somewhere in league one that was a better option than what we had.

    I'll really miss his interviews and personality, but the defence situation is just crazy. Conceding from set pieces ought to be the easiest deficiency to identify and remedy
