    What's 'local knowledge' got to do with it? Knowing the decent pubs in the area, some nice walks for the family on Sunday perhaps? I would have thought a decent knowlegde of how to manage a football team would be preferable...

    My 3 atm would be

    1). SOD (I don't think he'll come though - he was unduly sacked at Notts, why take the risk of Barnsley when he could wait for a bigger club).
    2/3). Ince, Brown.

    This job will either make or break our next manager, hence Ince and Brown. I think both are probably at that stage in their career where its probably worth the risk/challenge for them. No doubt we'll end up with some League 1 or 2 manager, or worse Branson/Flicker. That isn't to disrespect Branson or Flicker, I just think we need to bring in someone new with fresh ideas.
