There wasn't one. Ah, them were the days! Hemsworth would have had to write to the Chronicle by hand. There'd have been more chance of understanding a BFC ticket discount.
I don't recall any negativity at that time. Wilson had already won over most of his critics from his playing side following a terrible start in which he received fierce criticism. (rightly so coz he awful at first) It was largely accepted that his appointment was the 'cheap option' but I was encouraged that we had someone who had played at a good level and would have knowledge and indeed, contacts that could be prove to beneficial to us. The rest as they say is history.
