    what happens today, after we sacked his best mate, and knowing for pretty much certain that he's a goner as well after today? Why would he put in any effort at all?

    it is, but i also had a fiver on peterborough to win by 3 a couple of days ago based on that very notion...

    You would hope that even if he thinks he's no chance of this job he would want to prove he can be a Nr 1 as he has been linked with other jobs in the past.

    He obviously considered his position as he thought about accepting the caretaker role overnight.

    Why accept it just for the chance to screw us over one or two more games and ruin his own reputation?
