The Don just said on Radio Sheffield, he wants to go into the window as a free agent. He also said he has turned down a new enhanced contract. One Greedy *******!!!!
that's how we got him isn't it. not convinced he is championship quality over 46 matches. blows hot & cold IMO
I dont get this view that players should turn down money - If Davies can get a better contract elsewhere I cant blame him for going - after all that was one of the reasons he came to us from Chesterfield. Especially as if he signs for us there is every chance that he will be playing in the 3rd division next season. If he can get a better deal with a championship club he would be silly to not consider it. To be honest I think the biggest problem for Davies is our impending relegation and management uncertainty - had we offered him a contract weeks ago he may well have signed it but we waited until quite recently to start discussions and have now also fired the manager
why is he greedy? perfectly entitled to leave. if a bigger, better employer offered you a job move on more money, what would you do?
Don Rowing just said on the radio he had benn offered one and Steele as well bur wants to keep his options open.# unless of course you know different.
Who wouldn't want to leave a club with 8000 home fans? He's not good enough anyway. Let him.take that first touch elsewhere. At least if we did play against him know to get close, let him take a touch and take the ball off him.
Just let him go now,his heart will not be in it. Your right about how to mark him though, spot on assessment.
No, he said they asked Steele at the start of the season and he said he wanted to keep his options open, and they haven't offered anything else since.
Listening to the game we need to change it up in the 2nd half, get RNL on and Done, And Fozzy, or we might get a tonking.
Not a great half for Davies by the sound of it, missed a chance then couldnt trap a bag of cement for the rest of it.
