They said same about Davey. Club sold McIndoe and he kept us up. Only saying like

 

Actually I wasnt thinking of Davey when I posted that.
Bear in mind that we can still stay up, its going to be hard but it can be done and the right appointment is absolutely vital. We must not just go for the cheap option yet again because it could be a long time before we come back to this division.

 

Davey was the worst appointment in my opinion.

 

And the investment to go with the appointment.
We can still do it but its gonna have to be a gigantic effort from all concerned would have really felt a whole lot better if we hadn't lost to Peterborough today

 

Worse than Parkin, Spackman, or Hill ?

Must admit I didn't like the bloke or his brand of football but he did the job he was brought in for there's no denying that.
I came home from wolves on the back of a 2 - 0 loss as deflated as I,d been since relegation and thought we were down fast forward to April and coming home from Southend after a great win totally different scenario.
He did the job but club hung on to him too long and he would have taken us down that season if they hadn't got rid. Just to add ironically the wolves match was on new years day

 

I didnt like Davey either Mad, it sucked how the club treat Andy Ritchie that season. But Davey did keep us up longer than what any of us thought possible.
