Pig Seth Bennetts comments on twitter regarding our new manager. He's talking firstly regarding Flicker

@Sethb45: @davidpreece12 hmmmm I don't know I think he might be tainted by KH and a lack of experience hurts him.I think it is actually a tough sell.

@Sethb45: @davidpreece12 there are not too many experienced managers that will fancy an almost guaranteed relegation and no finance to change.

@Sethb45: @davidpreece12 the squad and the big ticket players there now you wouldn't trust to buy milk from shop let alone keep you in a job. 3/3

@Sethb45: @davidpreece12 I suspect a Megson/Blackwell type is the kind of man they need. S'OD has bigger fish to fry with Wolves job almost available.

I thought we had nearly half a season left?

I'd agree. Even with a new manager, without the finance to bring in some experienced quality to shore up the current squad we are 'almost' guaranteed relegation.

We really need the takeover to happen, but sadly I don't think this will happen. We'd be a much cheaper buy as a League 1 club.

I wouldn't say it's guarenteed relegation at this stage, ludicrous to write us off like that.

Agreed. We've had four inexperienced managers since returning to this tier and had to pay them all off. Surely the board realise now is the time to not go down this route for a 5th time.

Disagree. Debtless second tier club, not that far adrift and could be a good some money available depending on who leaves.

On about our 1 in 14 striker since the Birmingham Away game?

    Blackhead???????? What a crazy statement.

We do. It's not over yet but someone like Bristol City going into administration would help.

Am not trying to pick a feight Dyson old bean,but...I do agree with him...we need to win a least 9 games to give us any chance of staying up...48 points....basically all our home games.....not going to happen..

He's right about Davies (I am assuming that's who he is having a dig at) but how wrong is he about Blackwell - I thought he knew the club a little better than that.

We're not guaranteed relegation, but it's going to be very difficult to prevent it.

Disagree with him that experienced managers will be put off by this though. Every manager who applies for the job will know that if we are relegated they can blame Keith Hill. They know the fans will blame Keith Hill too. We're **** and we look doomed. If a new manager gets us out of it they'll be a hero. If they don't it's the previous incumbent's fault. Ideal situation.

experienced managers would not relish it ??? hmmm

so I wonder how he would explain Harry Redknaps decision to go to QPR then.OK so they are a tier above, but they are looking almost certs to go down.Macca to Ipswich they are in a mess too.I think an experienced manager may actually be very very interested in us, keeps us up and he is a miracle man, and a gold star on his CV. We go down and its all Mr Hills fault, what would he have to lose.
