There's a sell out clause in Davies contract
If we wait until the summer then we will get nothing for him
If we sell him now we might get maybe £500 +++ for him
There's a risk - do we sell him and get the money or do we keep him and hope that his goal scoring record will return ???

Due to the huge dip in his performances since he came back from injury I would say that we take the money..........we currently need players that will give us 100% if we are to survive in the Championship

play harewood hes a goalscorer that needs a run of games. but also when the new man comes in try to recruit too.

 

I'm a fan of Davies but he played at the other day like his head had been turned.Harewood gave us a lot more when he came on.If he does move on the new gaffer will need to recruit straight away.

 

But we sold Vaz te last year and then couldn't win a game. if we are going to stop up we need Davies' goals. And relegation would cost us more than £500k. I do appreciate this is clouded by him being off form of late, but if he does click he is our only player cacpable of regularly hitting the back of the net.

 

We were actually winning games with vaz te though.

 

Davies goals? His heads not in it for us now, get rid. We need battlers not bottlers!

There are some paranoid admin on this site.

 

Davies has scored in 5 league games. How many are wins? Genuine question as I am on phone so difficult to check. And we wouldn't have been playing with 10 men without Davies, the whole team dynamic would be different, we may have won more, who knows.

Exactly, I don't think you'd need to have attended the meeting to realise that was the case.

I would imagine we've agreed a fee with Bolton.I can't see the club let him have talks the day before a game otherwise.

But we were the only champ club that offered him a contract I understood.

Yet more masterful negotiating skills then. Wtf are we doing agreeing to such clauses.

I dont think there is anything in the initial post that is not common knowledge and that hasnt been mentioned on here already

The point being............when Davies was good we should have tried everything to keep him..............but do we really need him now?
