Not possible that people have lost interested and cant be arsed BECAUSE of the high prices? A one off reduction will not get people back, it needs to be sustained
Everyone be careful: During my interview today Ron Rowing was laughing. I asked if he had gone mental and he said that although the game is £15 tomorrow, he has employed a team of Oliver Twist style pickpockets to steal an extra £10 from everyone attending. I'm coming to the conclusion that he's some type of Bond villain. A Bond villain in a comedy body suit. Don't say I didn't tell you.
Too many people on here and the borough of Barnsley like to think there BFC fans but would rather take the piss, if we go down this year all you'll here is 'a told thi so' 'there bleedin rubbish'.......maybe I shouldn't let it get to me and just not give a **** about the team but unfortunately I can't, I've watched them from being a young un and I'll continue to do so regardless of what league were in or however many people are sat there on a Saturday afternoon. Maybe I need to keep my views and opinions to myself
Those wanting a cut in prices can't have it all ways. Either there are people wanting to support Barnsley who will pay £15 or there aren't. If you're a fan and can afford it you'll turn up.
It's ten English pounds at some FA cup-ties this weekend. Like we'd hold the prices to £15 if we won and then drew Man Utd, Get real man. Season ticket holders will have a chance to vote with their feet tomorrow, I suspect many will stay away. BTW I already have my ticket for tomorrow but I don't hold much hope for a result. That's what this season's done to me, I never used to abandon hope, even If if I predicted a defeat. The quicker we can a new manager in the better. let's all hope that whoever it is they can hit the ground running.
never mind watching the match tomoz just keep an eye on the directors box to see who the next manager is
I'm going tomorrow. I'm certain this makes me a better human being than everyone else who is not going. Probably.
most football fans are not season ticket holders, most Barnsley fans won't be there tomorrow, in the same way as if the game had been at turf Moore most Burnley fans wouldn't be there either.
Re: It's ten English pounds at some FA cup-ties this weekend. I'll be picking the team tomorrow if I get back from the Car Boot sale in time. Do we have any players who are good at doing football?
Total apathy from me, sorry. Would've checked the weather if it had been free. Same failed management, same failed players. NEVER been as disinterested going into a home game weekend.
If that's aimed at me I don't claim to be a better fan than anyone and I never will but I felt I had to speak my mind on the situation
Re: I'll be there as well We'll not be on the usual row tomorrow mate. We're going to sample the delights of the East Stand Upper. I'm hoping it looks better from the side.
I've been a st holder for many years and im not going, im voting with my feet and its down to the football being played over the last 12 months. Under other managers there was a thrill in going some we won some we lost but the team played well but now we go expecting to lose and watch the team passing the ball sideways or back untill we loose it and the opposition score you may if your lucky see the odd attack with no end product so to say i'm sat there frustrated is an understatement but i will be back in my seat against Leeds to see the new manager then not bother renewing to watch league 1 football if flitcroft gets the job
Am going I like FA Cup days, use to be one of the highlights of the season 1st Rd day when we were darn int basement division. Can understand folk chalking **** on it though.
I won't be there simply because I don't get paid until the 15th don't have a ST and I'm saving what money I have to enjoy my birthday against Leeds.
