No. To be honest it's always confused me why he was so popular, because he wasn't really all that good. Great crosses in the two big cup games and a couple of crackers at Plymouth I'll grant you, but in the great scheme of things I don't rate him as being as good as his reputation on here suggests he was.

No. Done nothing since leaving us, best days are gone and while I appreciated his effort for us when here and especially those crosses, I don't get the obsession on here for always bringing back former players.

Gave 200% every match, scored some vital goals, what's not to like?

Disco was a proper legend. Always worked his arse off, a big game player too. You count the really big games we had with him and he alway came up with the goods. Great crosser of the ball and the odd stunning goal now and then. Superb.

Never understand when the fans do the really good players down. Don't get me wrong, he wasn't Hignett, Ward or Redfearn - but he was really good. Just like Nicky Eaden and Steve Agnew. Crowd got on their backs something awful. Makes no sense.

    Disco Devaney = fond memories.

Wasn't great, wasn't awful but was one of those players who gave you that feeling that something might happen when he had the ball and started to run. Too often ended in an anti-climax (like Bullock) but he did get people excited.

Made his name with the Hungarians in that Plymouth match for me, I was there and the rot stopped that day, sparking a run to survival that season.
