First and foremost I'd like to congratulate Danny Rose on his first goal for club.

The game itself: today Barnsley showed bags of spirit and effort and were most certainly worthy winners. First half was pretty evenly contested with both teams thinking they probably good have gone into half time winning. I thought there sending off seemed a little harsh though.

When will Dagnall score for us? 110% every game but doesn't seem to be getting any luck.

Second half: total 1 way traffic, don't think Burnley looked bothered till last few minutes when they were loosing. Impressed with stones and cranie today but for me Dawson was what is the complete professional footballer, his effort, work rate, attitude, commitment and determination were tip top. I also liked how he gave Shackell a piece of his mind late on (and some grief at the final whistle) If we had 10 Dawsons on the pitch I don't think we'd be bottom of the league that's for sure.

Now then for the attendance: what a total ******* joke, all you stay away fans have had the man you hate sacked and the prices slashed as you wished and how many we're there???? Roughly 3800 Barnsley fans, disgraceful in my opinion. You we all bleating on yesterday about the clubs decrease in turnover and having your 10 peneth yesterday but instead of trying to help the club increase the turnover most of you choose to stay at home using piss poor excuses.

    Roll on tomorrow's draw'

No 6 Barnsley will play no 17 Chelsea, you'll all be queuing in car park for your tickets won't you, no doubt blaming the don for his skills in ticket selling or some other ***** you'll come out with.

Anyhow a good win and onwards and upwards for 2013

Are you going to have a go at all those season ticket holders that didn't go too?

Define a ***** excuse - I am curious can there be a valid excuse or do we all have to go every game regardless?

Mine is its a 400 mile drive - over 6 hours and £70 of fuel - the additional $15 wasnt really important so even though I have a Season Ticket I dont come to every game. I was up last week, I will be here for Leeds - sure If we had been playing Man Utd I would have had a rethink and definitely come up but some games are more attractive than others.

Had I still lived in South Yorks I am sure I would have gone - but I I can understand others might take this Saturday off

My interpretation of a ***** excuse is as follows, people staying away cause we've a caretaker manager who they don't like, people who don't like the board and people who generally couldn't be arsed going to watch there local team play in the fa cup yet will be slavering at the thought of getting a big name in the next round, that's what gets my back up.

Travelling 400 mile is probably a tad excessive to see a visit by Burnley (no disrespect intended)

I actually enjoyed too. It was an important win to get some momentum for the Leeds game next week

Was it the comfortable surroundings that made it more enjoyable? No puddles in the Legends Lounge!

Think you need to get real, Judith.

First, we haven't won a home game since September 1. Second, we sack Mr Numpty but leave his bosom pal in charge for more honest endeavour but little result. Third, we ST holders are a captive audience once the season gets under way, but we have a choice whether or not to pay for more shi te when it's not a league game.

It sounds to me like we were worthy winners in the sense of having much of the play today. But we've had that with little end result for the last four months. So maybe today we just got lucky?

If ever there was a time to vote with your feet and demonstrate to the Board that we don't want more of the same, today was it. These days we are customers. We "support" our families and loved ones, not an entertainment organisation where the manager earns more than the prime minister and the players more in a week than most of us do in several months.

Wake up and smell the coffee!

Some right martyrs amongst those who went today.

I once went to an Anglo Italian cup tie against Derby on a Tuesday night when Gerry Taggart scored in front of about 2,000 fans.

    IN YOUR FACE!!!!
