    He was delighted his first goal for the club had won the game and he got a bit emotional. It was nowt to do with any argument with Shackell.

    It was Flitcroft that said he was crying because of Shackell, so wasn't a rumour that just came from nowhere.

    it was poor management coming out with a statement like that in my opinion.

    Just watched his interview on player, when asked about the incident with Shackell, he just said Shackell lost his temper a little which is understandable when you're on the losing side. Didn't look like he was upset about what went off.

    That's the official line. He actually had something in his eye.... bit of grit or summat. Shackell was just trying to help him get it out. :)

    I'd say the official line is more likely to be accurate on this one. He'd just scored his first ever goal for us, given us our first win at home for god knows how long and had more than likely just given himself a nice little bonus too. If he had been upset by what Shackell said wouldnt he have been crying there and then not at full time?
