    Not so sure about Butcher............he comes from an era that was hard drinking and took no foooking prisoners.........thats what we might need at Barnsley at the moment to lift us out of the mire............then again its a new generation and this generation have problems listening to and understanding a hard hitting up and at them type of leader.

    In a nutshell..........the majority of young guys today, especially types like young footballers, are not what you could describe as being very manly

    Yes it is...........but they are from the same era and most or all of them at that time liked a gallon or two
    So just thought I needed to say it in a different way.

    Both from the same era..........Both from the same team (England)...........hard drinking, take no foooking prisoners, wear my heart (and blood) on my sleeve, born an 'up and at them type of leader'............but all the namby pamby young players of today want to talk about is who is on Big Brother.

    Player power.Didnt exist back then and explains a lot for the modern day footballer-excessive wages,interfering agents,image rights,vanity etc etc.
