Two things about Butch....

1. Are we really in a position to cough up compo for an 'in work' manager when there a handful of managers with arguably more experience available for nowt?

2. Got a bad feeling he'll turn us down....more talks tomorrow?? Sounds like we're trying to talk him into it. If I wanted the job I could ask all I needed to know in an afternoon....

...could be wrong but got a funny feeling he won't accept somehow!

 

Could be sticking rarnd for grand unveiling ceremony tomorra Dinner Time after doting the i`s and crossing the t`s int morning.

 

There wouldn't have been a second meeting if there was no chance of a deal ,Butcher talking to their lass imo

I think the board are trying to be as open as possible, so, when they say that the talks have been 'constructive, it sounds as though we are talking about the details of a possible deal. My money is on this one going through, hopefully by the end of Wednesday, or Thursday morning latest. It will be interesting to see if Maurice Malpas comes with him, if it foes go through.

 

Hope Malpas does come with him if he accepts.

Could be a lonely place for him without a trusted sidekick if it goes pear shaped first month or so!!

 

I have visions of the Ponty signing “Terry Butcher's bandage army“.

Also, reckon there's a niche market selling blood stained bandages outside Oakwell on a matchday?
