How can we be signing him without a manager? Who's doing the deal Rowing? Or has the prospective new manager given his approval. Fair enough I guess I think Stead is decent, but the amoung of business we're conducting without a gaffer amuses me.

to be fair, we're not doing any business, really. 6 players have left. 4 of those were loans, one was a done deal after the birmingham game on sky and the other is scott wiseman...who's rejoined us

    1) Twitter is apparently the only place mentioning this and it's hardly a reliable source.
    2) We don't have a manager to sign players.
    3) Stead has always been an overated carthorse with a poor record everywhere but Huddersfield.

    Can't see it being true.

Would have thought it would only be true if Butcher has agreed and has sanctioned the move. Stead impressed me even last season with Bristol City and I think he was their player of the season - Admomah was their young player of the season and looked the best of theirs. technically good player. I would think this a good move, but have the same doubts about the truth unless Butcher has agreed to manage and has already sanctioned the move.
