Agreed. The current regime are killing the club.

Amateur, unprofessional, small minded, happy to break even with a turnover of 50p in the Barnsley and district league.

I think we could distill your views on here down to about 15 words.

mr Cryne has put millions into the club. We do need new owners - are you gonna put your house on the line?

If we cant have new owners can we just employ a new board or replace Don. Theres plenty decent unemployed managers. Why cant we just pick one.....Its embarrassing

I'm sure we could pick plenty we wouldn't want. I don't get this "embarrassment" thing either.

I've put thousands into the club. It's all relative isn't it. A multi millionaire puts a few million in and he's a hero. A working class fan with less than a grand in the bank puts about £500 a year into the club and they're nothing.

I wonder when the last connected relative is due to drop off?

A normal working class fan buying a season ticket and a shirt doesn't single handedly save the club. Patrick Cryne did. I'm fed up with people bashing the board to be honest, people want us to operate like Man Utd. It's never ever going to happen. We could do with cheaper ticket prices but as has been proved many times in the past if its not Wednesday or Chelsea playing it makes little difference. We could also do with more marketing but it would take spending money we don't have to put that in place. The board are doing a perfectly decent job, we need a manager and we will get one, these things don't happen over night and if they had told us nothing people would still be moaning. More importantly even if we do get relegated its not the end of the world and the club will carry on just fine, definitely not being'killed' by the current regime as some would have it. For some on here DR and PC can do no right.

Thousands more turned up to watch us play Blackpool when the club ADVERTISED that they had reduced ticket prices.

Only until the Club reaches the Premiership again and then he wants it back.

Of course they did, that's what football fans at every single club in the country and probably world do. I'm not sure what the point is unless it is that clubs shouldn't make any effort to get fans in to the club for 99% of their matches because in the other 1% fans turned up anyway which is a staggering attitude

Not so. The loan was incorporated into the p&l account and is not distributable.

I thought it had been announced that Cryne wants his £6m 'loan' back if we get to the premiership. As it was explained to me it isn't technically a loan but the club is up for sale with a clause in the sale stating £6m to him if we get promoted to pay back the money he invested. Is that wrong?

And people have given him lots of thanks for it but that doesn't mean that it isn't in the clubs best interests for it to be taken over by someone with more ambition and time for the job.

After listening to what Butcher has just said how can you possibly blame the board for Butchers decision?

The board do a lot of simple things wrong but what's become clear from Butcher and O'Driscoll is that their passion for the club is second to none!
