We need some believe and spirit and the crowds back - those two would get people excited again.

I don't care whether they see eye to eye or NOT but they would do a great job. Harry is a fighter and might be able to even motivate the club from top to bottom. Come on Harry.

    Re: Other way round maybe

That would work - they need a gnarly ****er to instill the discipline - no-one better than Harry - who we can afford!
    Who's Cole?

Bassett is the best manager we have had since Wilson and I would welcome him back, a proven winner who was let down by the Fruit and Veg Man.

He was very lucky to have one player who was absolutely at the top of his game in Higgnett.

If you want to go down the administration route, Harry's yer man

How did Dennis let him down, he allowed him to give that 'new paul ince' a new contract even though he was a crock.

Yes Dave, completely agree. That whole breaking even thing would be out the window within the first week.

I'm not saying he didn't, but the stand out player in the division that season IMO was Higgnett.

the one player is a bit harsh on the others to be fair.

Granted that one player had a massive battle ti win over Basset at the start
