I think we'll approach SOD but I suspect he'll turn us down so we'll be forced to go to our back up plan of Terry Butcher. He'll probably turn us down too though. **** knows what we'll do after that.

Not sure I can't see either Shaun O'Driscoll or Terry Butcher wanting the job.

My thread is conspicuously quiet? I was hoping someone would have the answer? :(

McCarthy of course - easy - he's "always wanted to manage Tarn' - apparently!

    Re: All joking aside, Paul

I'd gone off Keith a bit but didn't believe a change of manager would change our fortunes as there were no likely candidates who could do the job or would be interested. Butcher was never on my radar til last week. Under Keith we were in serious danger of relegation - by sacking him we have practically guaranteed it. Folk let their anger and dislike for Hill, over-rule their better judgement.

In answer to your question, old flower.... In the ideal world where what I say goes, Gary Neville. In the very real world and very real situation facing us now, I've been with you in the Paul Ince camp since S O'D declined. Redfearn in at number 2 and retain Flicker.
