    Young manager on the up and his profile with Barnsley fans would help with the re-alignment. You can't live in the past but at the same time you can't ignore the past altogether.

    Have to agree. He's the one I thought we'd go for first.

    Cracking bloke, held in high regard by fans, brought through the right way at Crewe who have always focused on bringing youth through and plays a decent style of football.

    The worst thing we could do is shift to a hoofball manager as a kneejerk reaction. Pick a style and recruit managers to play that style.
