Time for Redders + Darren Moore to get on their white horses to bring the passion and fight back to BFC and keep us in this league

But the whispers I am hearing from the club are we are going to appoint a manager from within especially if we beat L**ds Saturday

If Flitcroft gets it then who does the board think will be advising him every night on the team and the tactics - that muppett Hill

How do you know that David Flitcroft is a clone of Keith Hill? He's big enough and old enough to have his own ideas and thoughts on the game. Just because he's been Keith Hills understudy doesn't mean he's a clone of him. Who's to say that he didn't agree with 60% of Hills ideas?

Flitcroft, for all the years he's worked with Hill will have been taking notes, on the good things that Hill did (and lets be fair, he did bring in some positive changes to the team) and also the bad things, and if he's got anything about him, he'll apply and mould these into his own train of thought in hope of doing his best for himself and the team.

    Give him a chance.

It was in the second half a decent display.

    Still lost. Still didn't score.

That's my point - we beat Burnley on Saturday, and I'd sure as hell take a poor display and another 1-0 victory on Saturday.

We beat burnley due to a horrific goal keeping error.

    Very one dimensional all game.

So it would suit you if we lost to Leeds? That is pretty much what you are saying.

We won 1-0. So what if it was a goalkeeping error? Young Danny Rose was there, on hand to notch. Flitcroft can only do the best with what he has at his disposal and I for one with back him while he's in the hot seat.

If he disagreed with 60% of keith's ideas he would have left the partnership years ago. He's had job offers to manage clubs in his own right, but turned them down because he has wanted to continue working with Keith. I'm not saying Keith and David never had disagreements, but they were very much a team with similar ideas that came to decisions together.

60% was a throwaway figure I was using to try and illustrate my point.

I'm not trying to instigate an argument here with you mate, but how on Earth do you know this? Yes, I admit, it does stand to reason that they were probably a pair alike and probably shared very similar thoughts and ideas on football, but only until David Flitcroft is given a chance to stand on his own and carve out his own unique path can he really be judged to be an Hill clone or not.

I don't think he's a Hill clone. I think they share a footballing philosophy. And I know this because Keith and David have said as much at least 100 times since they've been at Barnsley and I would imagine a good number of times when they were at Rochdale.

Touché. I still feel that given the opportunity, David Flitcroft may surprise a few people and if he is given the opportunity, I hope he is backed by the board and the supporters, and I hope he does - he's nothing to lose and at the minute, we've everything to gain.

All guessing, I agree with Poet, give the guy a chance. He never moaned and chucked the dummy out. He got stuck in to help Barnsley Board out and the team and we can't say he has been that bad. Lets see what comes about with Leeds. If we can get good football, and effort, with what's left at his disposal, then we can have more idea

He had a chance with his best buddy and he/they have left us us some right *****.

I have nothing against the guy but unfortunately he is part of a management team that failed. We are bottom of the league, awful record with declining and embarrassed supporters.

We are desperate for a change.
