Don't get me wrong, sometimes when it comes to Saturday mornings l wish it was 10 years ago, no family, going into tarn for home games at Midday and going home at 3am Sunday's. Missus knows exactly when the kick off is though "right so the game finished at 4.45, why you turned in at 1am?" Well there was some injury time...... Suppose l'll have the benefit of taking the nipper to Oakwell soon with his tampered with birth certificate to get round The Don's rules.
I used to be. Gone are the days when I'd have a day off work to go to Brentford or Colchester on a Tuesday night.
im not going too far to travel and yes i used to go to every game home and away but i never had a season ticket. being young and drinkable i could never seem to save the cash to pay for a season ticket. mad when i think about it now,all the money i would have saved ah well at least i kept the reds afloat.
I wasn't going to, but have come to the conclusion that I can't sit at home wondering what's going, so I'll probably go, even though I'm convinced we will lose. If we are losing, I may well leave. I just can't stomach it any more, especially against them. As for the kids, my nephew has had enough, and my daughter hasn't decided.
I'm not going. Flew home today, me and the mrs have got our first ante-natal class in the morning and then I've chosen to spend the afternoon with her rather than Hill's left overs as I'm off back on Sunday for another 2 weeks. If anyone thinks I'm a **** fan for that you can **** off. Cheers.
Just wanted to disprove that nobody wanted flicker before today's game. Fair enough after today I want him in the role a whole lot more - but still. And there wasn't only me saying give him it. (To be fair a fair few were saying it without adding it'd save embarrassment of somebody else turning us down). I have to say it would about sum up our football club to let him slip through our fingers. I get the feeling that might have happened.
