.............Flicker is 50% of Hillflicker..........theres no difference between the management team of 3 weeks ago and the management team now It wants a CLEAN break from that era. One win, no matter who it was against, dosent change the fact that the Hillflicker ran out of steam (maybe because of events and problems out of their control) but they ran out of steam. If Flicker joins up with Mellon then thats an option..........but we need a knew management team in...........please do not let ONE WIN cloud that issue..........and by doing so pass the management of the club is passed to Flicker
It was more than the win it was the reaction of the players it was the formation it was a sense of we can win this instead of oh no here we go again. Nothing is distinctly the same as before
I thought the same nudge, but first time I have seen us under just flicker and unless your Blind, yu cant help notice that we look much better and that he has changed things. the work rate of the players was back to the early days under Hill Mcnulty looks much more confident playing in that formation. I change my vote , Give it to flicker because we cant afford the upheaval bringing in some one new would cause. The players are obviously playing for him
We win. We beat the mighty Leeds. We keep a clean sheet. Dagnall scores 2. We are 1 point from safety. Yet you want to moan. Yer miserable lovely person.
It's not just one win though, is it? It's 2 wins following on from an entirely creditable away performance after only a couple of days in temporary charge.
Young nudger I respect your view, but answer me this. Was there any manager on our list could have engineered a better performance than today. Flicker altered the system slightly and stuck with the same players. They responded to him and today made Leeds look plonkers. I may be wrong but in 4 matches 2wins 1 draw 1loss. Who could have done better than that. If Barsley do not give it Flicker and his assists then they are bigger fools than I thought they were. Will know in morning ..
this is probably the biggest swing shift in popularity since jimmy saville. flicker has changed a LOT of opinions today. mine included. of course nudge could be right. it could just be a one-off. but right now, that was not keith hill's oppo. that was a coach with his own ideas. that was a coach prepared to ditch the 'square and back' rubbish. that was an immense performance from front to back. jesus, he even got goals out of daggers!!! given the $hit we're in, I see no other option than Flicker
Absolutely disagree. FLITCROFT MUST STAY! The passion effort and hunger today was immense. It's been the same for the last three games. Just because he worked with Keith should not taint his chances. One win is not clouding the issue. He would have been the right appointment had we lost today. You probably won't change your mind whatever happens but hey ho. It's all about opinions. However, there is a visible change of approach and I Can feel something in the air which is more positive.
People can shout for who the want, Nudge. That's like saying please don't think for yourself or have any other opinion than is different to mine. Flitcroft is his own man, that much should be evident. So are your fellow board members.
People on here are assuming that I've been to the last few games.............I haven't because of other commitments However..........I knew this stampede for Flicker would start if he was able to get a win against Leeds. And that's just what has happened. It dosen't change my view If Flicker couldn't get a winning team as part of Hillflicker then he isn't going to get a winning team just on his own. We need new management ideas. Now, and I've said this in the original post, if Flicker teams up with someone else that is able to bring something to the club and who has got management experience (eg. Mellon et al) then that's a different story.
Absolutely disgaree, Nudge. Flicker has changed the tactics, the tempo and the formation, as well as the management team. He has the support of the players it would seem. You're entitled to your opinion, but how you can't be positive for Flicker after 2 straight wins is beyond me.

Never thought I would agree with Young Nudger but I do. Yes brilliant today, one of the worst cup ties i've seen in 50 odd years last week against 10 men for an hour and a loss against a team at the time below us the week before, so it's a no from me.
Flicker has brought new ideas to the team, for a start he does not swap players every game and the team has a more settled look,we look more solid at the back and we pass forward more instead of sideways. The players also seem happier to play for him.
