With plenty of time to save up before the next home game, I think the club should offer a 9 game pass for £99 adults £50 concessions £25 under 12s - with £20, £10, £5 on the gate for every game left. Think of the longer term fan-base if we stay up or not!! Market the hell out of it all over the net/local press/town centre! The supporters trust could help, I would be willing to help if others are to help promote it.

'Fill the ground - back the Tarn' Or how about '999 call - 9 games for £99' :)

That would be the right thing to do, carrying on the "realigning the fans" business. We all know it won't happen though...

The don has talked about re connecting with the fans, if he actually realises it his and his staff's job to do that we might get something.

no more of this 'buy a reserves ticket and a pie to get £1.19 off a first team ticket if bought on a tuesday at 2.47pm offers' ..... make it simple and market it correctly.

Cracking idea . Don please take note. Be brave now with your marketing. Fraser as the new marketing advisor. Seriously now is the time to get some ideas in as to how we can reap the benefits of flickers appointment. There's a feel good factor developing. Red tsunami. There's a real togetherness beginning totals shape. Red rain take note.

Bad ideas all round. People getting in the ground for 4 quid a game less than the lifeblood season ticket holders? We have hardly any money yet want to gamble on tripling pay on the day customers by having them in your deal only pay a third, just to make the same as we do now? On top of that you want us to pay for advertising with posters, media etc.

    I sent the following......

Hi, what a great weekend...and I hope you have finally had time to get some sleep!!! Now I know this has been done to death, and I understand finances are tight, but I really think the bigger picture needs to be looked at, not just for this season, but for seasons to come....."realigning the fans"

With a real togetherness and a feel good factor slowly returning to the club after 3 great performances, and with plenty of time to save up before the next home game, I really think the club should offer a 9 game pass for £99 adults £50 concessions & £25 under 12s - This should also be done with £20, £10, £5 on the gate for every game left. You also mentioned doing one more special price '125' game at the last meeting Barnsley BBS forum meeting that we had with you - this could be really special if done well again.

Think of the longer term fan-base if we stay up or not!! Market the hell out of it all over the internet/local press/town centre etc! The supporters trust could help, I myself would be willing to help free of charge - and I'm sure others will help to help promote it as well. As a pass holder I don't care about people seeing these last 9 games for cheap + the 2 biggest games have already been played as well! I'm sure the rest of the pass holders would rather have a much bigger crowd and it could just make that difference come May.

The two slogans I thought of are 'Fill the ground - back the Tarn' Or how about '999 call - 9 games for £99'

    Regards,
    Fraser Beecroft
    Pass holder

Mark replied quickly, confirms another 125 game will be taking place. It was going to be Millwall but this is now FA Cup 4th round day, so that will get put back to another game.

You don't have to agree with me mate, that's fair enough. I just think all this spending nothing and mega high prices has killed us for the last 2 years, the club has been dying in every avenue. We need to pull everything together and get a real buzz going. Only a real eye catching price will pull people in, a few quid promoting it will earn money we wouldn't have got and will get fans back to the ground...some are slipping away and this can't be allowed to happen!!!

Not from Mark, he thanked me for the comments but it's not up to him, I'm sure he would love it to happen as it would make his job much easier to have more fans coming to games, I guess the more people who want this need to support it and contact the club backing this up.

Everybody wants to pay £11 a game mate but like you know they've got bills to pay.

You don't charge what you can't afford.

Plus, and it's a valid argument, why should a fan who comes along now be able to pay £99 for 9 games which is cheaper than a season ticket?
