Documentary on the failure of America's war on drugs. Got rave reviews. Should be worth a watch

I wonder how he found that prison guard. I bet he couldn't believe his luck.

Astonishing and shocking film. The comparison of America's war on drugs to the Holocaust was convincing and truly frightening. Clearly the real criminals are in the Supreme Court, Congress and corporate boardrooms.

Jaw dropping when you get people who understand what is going on so clearly and can connect the dots with such clarity

What I found unbelievable was that there is literally a booming Supply Industry supporting the increasing number of drug-related prisoners.

The tough sentences = higher prisoner count = higher cost to US citizens.

I am not sure how I would tackle this problem!

Legalise. Destroy the black market, create legal jobs and tax income.

    Commercially sensible but wildly extreme.

.....and you can't say "Black market" as that is racist.

In an ideal world that would have already happened but too many in authority lose doing that one way or another not to mention the backhanders that work their way up unofficially similarly with illegal arms

Prison industrial complex. Way too many people with vested interests in locking people up.

    Agree.

No more harming than going out every week and having ten pints. Difference being it's socially acceptable.

When the money to be earned to support the capitalist system itself doesn't come from outside, it comes from within.

Much like flattening Iraq and then giving US firms the contracts to rebuild it
