Blackburn manager Michael Appleton is aiming to sign Barnsley right-back Scott Wiseman at the second attempt

Sad irony if our worst player is the only one to stay in the Championship

Are we missing something with him? What are other people seeing?

Folk have been OTT with Wiseman basically because he was one of Keith`s untouchables who got away with many mistakes whilst others were dropped for similar. Dont think he is owt special but am sure he could be improved/developed on what we have seen so far. Good move for us.

I don't think Wiseman is as bad as some made out but the problem was that Hill just blindly and stubbornly kept playing him when he wasn't playing well and when we other players who were just as good not even in the squad. Hill did him no favours at all and as a result I think his reputation is too damaged at Oakwell.

I kind of feel sorry for the lad.

Got loads of stick cause of how keef played him and underperfomed because of this.

If keith had been more fair with other players instead of constantly choosing wiseman then i think he'd be a better player.

its not worked out for him here, but he'll be playing at this level for quite some time he's a decent player and he'll prove it in time

Think he would be more suited to our current style as a wingback

This just proves that people that work in football and understand football fully understand how good Wiseman is.

And the silly foookers that spout on here know foook all about football

So if Flicker wants to sell him does that mean he can't understand how good he is? He must be a sheep like the rest of us.

Thank God we have you to guide us and point out the error of our ways.

Thank God for Skeletor too. Let's hope he sees summat in McNulty and Done too.

Another player Hill played out of place and paid the price. Winger playing centre half I ask you. They finish up low on confidence and going up their own backside. Good luck to the lad. Hope he enjoys the free chickens if you win.
