    It's things like this that make me feel more and more distant from English football by the day.

    I've gone from being a football nut in years gone by, to my current state of mind of caring little for the England team and having little interest in the Premier League.

    English football (Premier Leage and England team) is awful in every respect other than the **** hot marketing which ignores the dwindling quality overall and the paucity of talent currently being produced from the youth teams.

    If I wasn't a Barnsley fan then I think I'd have zero interest in football these days.
