"you fools have painted the club into a corner"

Don't be so melodramatic. If the club is selling players because the fans don't like them, we really are in trouble.

I think Wiseman is a decent player..........and would be an excellent player for the club if he didnt have the fans on his back

No matter how good or bad a player is he shouldn't be bullied out of the club by the fans

Its a disgrace what these fans have done.

    SHAME ON THEM !!!

He got booed, for having a mare. so what, he's not alone. If that's why he wants out, he needs to man up. McNulty has been singled out more. He got his head down, worked on his mistakes and had a blinder against Leeds. And the fans recognised him for it.

His form did suffer BEFORE the fans got onto him, KH's insistence on picking him come rain or shine was the problem. If anyone's to blaim, its Hill.

Wiseman and Craif Dawson - help!!! Another manager is trying to nick all the ex-Rochdale players. Better manacle Done, Dagnall and co then!

Same with daggers, same with McNulty. There's a route back into the team. His call if he wants it back or not.

What Bobby is, though, is an honest grafter, who wears his heart on his sleeve and is competent (despite your protestations) in a number of positions. He comes across as a likeable man in the media and has nurtured a good rapport with supporters - when it comes to cult status at a club, he ticks all the boxes.

Wiseman was brought in, through no fault of his own, to replace him. If you replace a player of Bobby's standing you are asking fans to forget the isolation of a club legend to accommodate the new guy. This only happens if the new guy is good - really good - and the fans have to concede that their idol's absence is for the good of the team.

Hill signed someone who is OK but not good enough to replace Hassell in the hearts and minds of the fans. Hillm, however, had made his mind up to play Wiseman come what may and this shattered his confidence.

Wiseman = Decent 3rd division right back. Terrible Championship centre half (not his fault that Hill ruined him and then increased the heat by making him skipper).

All this proves is that Appleton is a bad manager, which his record bears testament to.

Wiseman was awful at right back last season. Never got booed.

Wiseman was awful at centre half this season. Never got booed.

Wiseman was awful at right back against Blackburn. He was booed, twice. Which was sad.

I don't think Hillcroft's decision to play him no matter what helped.

I can't recall ever coming away from a game thinking "wow, Wiseman was easily MOTM today".

The fact that he ousted a club legend is irrelevant. It's the fact he ousted a far better player that irks many supporters. Just like I'd be pissed off if we dropped Perkins for Done week in week out and kept losing because Done kept fcukin up. It's that simple really.

Hope he leaves. Don't care where to or how much for. He has failed in 18 months and 72 games for us.

    Harshly treated, bullied by fans???

    **** off.

What he said. Spot on. Wiseman seems to have become a far better player in the mind of some fans since he was finally left out of the team than the vast majority of his performances would suggest.

Clubs wanted Odejayi when we'd had enough. Doesn't make him a good player. Same goes for Nouble, McEveley etc etc.

Which means absolutely nothing !! I remember a certain black guy getting it when he had only been on the pitch for 15 mins and touched the ball twice !! I blame The Full Ponty !!

Wiseman isn't good enough to play in the championship in ANY position. I'm sorry but i'v seen him play numerous times and he just isn't good enough.
